Measuring 2 1/4" in diameter x 3/8" deep, this unique museum piece has a secure French C-clasp.
Composed of 24K Gold Plate Metal and Red Enamel, this brooch mimics primitive metalworking.
The center depicts a raised man and lion, with an outer border featuring a coiled snake eating its own tail. Known as an "ouroboros" in ancient cultures, this symbol represents the eternal cycle of life.
